Like many of the Topline Roofing team, Karl left school and trained to become a registered plumber (with Topline) when roofing was still part of the plumbing trade. He went on to achieve NZQA Metal Roofing and Cladding Certification when it first became a recognised trade in 2013. He is also an experienced membrane installer, holding a Viking Roofspec Membrane Applicator’s License which incorporates Warm Roof Systems. Having worked his way up through Topline and now being in the industry over 20 years, Karl is a workplace first aider, and has a current Site Safe Building Construction Passport and Fall Arrest Certification. He holds the equivalent of LBP (Licensed Building Practitioner) status.

Karl is one of Topline’s longest serving staff members having been with the company for 15 years. As Roofing Sales & Project Manager, his job involves measuring and advising specifications, pricing jobs, liaising with clients and project managing the job through to completion. For customers it means peace of mind knowing Karl is working with them and overseeing their job from start to finish.

Karl particularly enjoys helping customers by providing effective solutions for their roofing needs and is adept at finding bespoke solutions for a wide range of customer requirements.

At weekends, Karl likes to spend time with friends and family, walking his beloved dog Ollie along with comparing home brew notes with his good mates.
