Topline Roofing has been operating for 30 years, and in my opinion, in a reputation based sector, you don’t survive in business that long unless you’re pretty good at what you do. Over the years, we have developed a way of working as a company that ensures we always deliver to our commercial customers. We do what we say we are going to do, when we say we’re going to do it – through careful planning our support team has the skills and expertise to provide tender documents, quotes, scheduling, project management and more.
At Topline Roofing, we have invested in the latest software to give our customers accurate costs for budget planning. We don’t like surprises, and we know you don’t either! We’ve also have enough years of experience to know how much things cost.
We provide ongoing training and mentorship both from within the company and from external parties. All of our roofers hold relevant NZQA qualifications, and we’re actively working with the Roofing Association to try and regulate the roofing industry. We also run an apprenticeship scheme where our senior roofers teach the next generation how to do their job properly. I take my role on the Apprenticeship Trust Board very seriously, and am personally a great advocate for teaching youngsters roofing skills by offering both practical and theoretical experience.
Health and safety is hugely significant when working at heights. Our dedicated HSE Quality & Training Manager oversees our proprietary Top Priority H&S programme. We are committed to supporting WorkSafe NZ’s best practice guidelines for ‘Working at Height’ in New Zealand. Moreover, our safety processes and policies are regularly evaluated and improved upon, ensuring best practice safety techniques are strictly adhered to by all members of our team.
All of our staff have been police checked and we work with the Drug Detection Agency (TDDA) and follow its workplace drug policy, education and testing requirements. Its goal is to create safer workplaces. We carry out pre-employment drug testing, health and criminal checks, and our staff are subject to random drug testing.
