COVID-19 PROTECTION FRAMEWORK

From the 30th of December 2021, Auckland moved into ORANGE according to the COVID-19 Pandemic Framework (Traffic Light System). This change does not affect our general office operations and you can still expect the same high levels of health and safety compliance which we have maintained at all levels during this ongoing pandemic.

WHAT HAPPENS AT ORANGE?

As all Topline staff are double vaccinated, we are continuing as normal with roofing, plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying services for residential and commercial customers. Contact tracing and robust hygiene protocols have remained unchanged.

Visitors to Topline premises will be screened on entry and will be asked to scan in using the QR Code. As our team work with Ministry of Education and the aged care sector, we ask that only vaccinated visitors enter the premises. Please have your Vaccination Certificate ready for scanning. However, we are able to accommodate unvaccinated visitors in our outdoor area with appropriate physical distancing and use of face coverings.

Topline will continue to follow all guidelines from Government, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, CHASNZ, and WorkSafe New Zealand at all levels of the Traffic Light System.

MINIMISING RISKS AT ALL LEVELS

Topline will maintain the strict hygiene protocols which have been in place since the start of the pandemic. These include:

  • Physical distancing of 2m with anyone outside our work bubble
  • Robust contact tracing systems: scheduling / GPS / scanning in
  • Ongoing risk assessments and updates to reduce workplace risks
  • Strict hygiene practices in line with NZ COVID-19 Construction Industry Protocols (CHASNZ / Site Safe)

Please be aware that you’ll be asked a few mandatory questions at the time of booking and again before our staff arrive for the job. These include:

  1. Are you or anyone in your household currently feeling unwell or experiencing any symptoms?
  2. Have you or anyone in your household been advised to self-isolate?
  3. Are you or anyone in your household waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test?

In light of new variants emerging, Topline will continue to keep in line with best practice guidelines from the Ministry of Health and Government as a minimum standard.
